The Vampire Diaries Ending Confirmed by Julie Plec and Ian Somerhalder!!

Whether The Vampire Diaries’ is ending or not, this news is pretty soon for us to tell!

But whatever the case! But, from the interviews of its Co-creator, Julie Plec and star Ian Somerhalder, it seems like the ending season is sure to blow us away and Julie Plec has it “pretty clear’’ in her head.

Recently in an interview with Vulture, Julie Plec reportedly said, how she had the last sequence of the show already planned in her head. But she wasn’t sure when the sequence would follow. Be it after the Vampire Diaries Season 8 that is set to air the following year, or will there be another season to follow suit?

Whichever the case, one thing she was pretty adamant about, that is, she was ready for it!

She claimed that ever since Nina Dobrev left TVD, she had a very precise Vampire Diaries’ ending planned in mind, which surprisingly goes well wherever they plan to put. Julie had also mentioned that the story is going to take a lot of turns over the course, in order to build up to the ending, whether it takes a year, two or even more.

But that’s not all that she gave away during the conversation!

Upon asking about the Season 7’s final episodes, the Co-creator of the show also mentioned that however ironic it sounds, the last few episodes have a lot more Kissing, rather than killing, which is what you mostly expect from a cutting edge show, like TVD!

Furthermore, she added that the final episodes are filled with intense fear and drama, but by the end of the day the kissing toll tops that of killing.

So although we are not sure whether the Vampire Diaries’ is ending after The Vampire Diaries season 8 or not, but I just can’t wait for all that is coming our way, in the 7th season’s finale on May 13th and I’m sure all the other TVD fans can’t either!

As for Ian Somerhalder, almost around a week after saying  in a fan conference that season 8 will be his last season on the show, Ian aka Damon Salvatore tweeted his fans, quoting something, entirely different!

In the tweet, Ian seems determined to make us believe that what all he said were just his mere assumptions and the creators of the show, CW and WD have not decided on anything as yet.

Though in his conference earlier, he did mention that things weren’t official as yet, but it gives all TVD fans just a glimpse to get carried away. In the conference, he did give away a lot about season 8 being TVD’s last and final season, or so as we think!

Hey all, so… Last weekend I talked to an audience at a Q&A about the end of #TVD and how excited I was to make what I believe—my last year—be as great as possible,

Somehow in my infinite wisdom and end-of-season foggy brain, I managed to make it sound like the show was coming to an end. Cut-to the press running stories that the show would be done after Season 8. Thing is, the people who actually make that decision (the CW and WB) haven’t made it yet! So let’s take things one step at a time: Season 7 wrap, vacation, lots of sleep, let the writers get started on Season 8, and then we’ll all see where we go from there. Until then, much love 😉

Love,

Ian

Want to know what he said in the conference earlier the week, here’s where you can find.

Whatever the case, both Julie Plec as well as Ian Somerhalder, both gave away details that led to the fact that the final season, be it 8th, 9th or a million more, the finale will be downright amazing for sure!

Sounds promising, doesn’t it?

Comment  below, if you think The Vampire Diaries season 8 will not put an end to the cutting-edge drama of this series!
