The fans of Vampire Diaries are confused these days about the comeback of popular TV star Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert) in the  Series Finale. She is supposed to return in the swan song of CW Series.

Elena would be asleep as long as the Bonnie is alive as she was placed in the spell of sleeping beauty (that became reason of her ties with Kat Graham). For making her appearance practically a given in the ending season, this will definitely make sense for her to wake up for searching many of their buddies haven’t aged.

This situation has raised the question that would she really appear?

Mark Pedowitz, the CW president shared his thoughts in a Sunday’s press tour at the Association of Television Critics.

He told,

“The best way I can answer that question is Kevin, Julie, CW and the Studio have promised a fantastic series finale.”

It is still rumoured but Plec had given us a hint about interest of Nina in joining the cast ofseries (which is not official).

He said,

“Nina has always said that if there’s something for her to do in the series finale that she will be there to do it”

He also shared the thoughts of Nina Dobrev about returning to the show. Her statement shows higher personal interest for being part of the show.

She told,

“I want to see this character to its end at the end of the show, so I can’t wait to come back and put her to bed again.”

All we can say that just ‘Wait & Watch’ to see her in the final series of Vampire Diaries. Her presence would definitely spice up the show more. Do you want to watch her in the show?

The Vampire Diaries‘ series finale will air Friday, March 10 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
